About Me
My journey into finance has been anything but conventional, but it’s this unique path that shapes the way I support my clients today.
Study
I began studying Business Management at the University of Birmingham, unsure of where my future would lead. After completing my first year, I took a leave of absence to pursue a dream: playing professional football.
Professional Footballer
Over the first three and a half years, I lived that dream, learning the value of discipline, teamwork, and forward-thinking. During my time in football, I became increasingly aware of the importance of financial literacy, not just on a personal level, but especially for businesses, Clubs, Sponsors etc. That awareness grew into a genuine intrigue and for finance and a desire to help companies grow strategically and sustainably.
I made the decision to step away from football and returned to complete my degree. I then began my CIMA studies while working as a management accountant, quickly developing my expertise in budgeting, planning, and financial performance. In January 2025, I became a Chartered Management Accountant and a CIMA Member in Practice
Recent Practice
Most recently, I served as Head of Finance for a Group Holdings company, with 10 businesses which included, fast-growing small businesses with turnovers ranging between from £250k to £10,000,000. These companies ranged sectors from Tech, Property Development, Contracting, Manufacturing and Sales agency.
It was my responsibility to prepare, analyse, plan and forecast and present each company Management Accounts at each board meeting, which I chaired.
I gained hands-on experience driving financial strategy, improving systems, and supporting rapid growth in a dynamic environment gained a first-hand insight into entrepreneurism, Start-ups and investment/M&A.

Today, through Monexa Financial Services, I bring together everything I’ve learned, from the pitch to the boardroom, to help individuals and businesses achieve financial clarity, stability, and success.
